I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

I approach my work with curiosity and openness, as well as a deep respect and understanding for the ways my patients have adapted to the world. I view therapy as a collaborative endeavor and strive to create a safe, warm, and validating environment that enables people to share and be vulnerable without fear of judgment.

Adult therapy

Psychotherapy is a uniquely effective way to address and process deeply rooted issues that manifest in ways that can be painful, confusing, and make people feel out of control. My approach to individual therapy with adults centers on empathy, understanding, exploration, and active problem-solving.

Child and adolescent therapy

Anxiety, depression, and other psychological difficulties often present very differently in children and adolescents, making it challenging for parents, teachers, and other caregivers to understand where frustrating behaviors and troubling thoughts and feelings are coming from.

Fees

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not accept direct payment from insurance. However, if your insurance plan reimburses for services from out-of-network mental health providers, I can provide a statement with the necessary information to submit to your insurance for this purpose.

If you are unsure if your health insurance reimburses for mental health treatment, please contact your carrier to discuss.

Please call to inquire about my current fee. I work on a sliding scale and am sometimes able to offer a reduced fee.

My office is located in the Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland, CA.
